This seminar introduces a novice user or a new user to measurement using strain gauges.

• Bridge theory, shunt calibration, lead wire effects of 2, 3 and 4 wire options
  (discussion on different wiring methods), thermal issues with the different Wheatstone bridge circuits.
• Selection of gauges, adhesives and covering agents , material issues, best practices.
• A number of case studies will be discussed.
