More robust than required by the standards

Liberty is more rugged than required by the impact resistance requirements in the MIL-Standard-810. This means: Liberty operates reliably even at accelerations of 75 g.

Liberty continues to measure and record steadily, even when subject to strong vibrations, such as those occurring in rail or commercial vehicles. Practice-orientated vibration profiles in the MIL standard such as Rail-Cargo-Vibration or US-Highway-Truck-Vibration, which simulate 250,000 miles of operation, are evidence of the capability in this area. An internal 8 GB CompactFlash card (CF card) saves the data. In contrast to HD's, CF cards do not have rotating parts and are therefore particularly robust and insensitive to shocks, securely retaining all data.

As the perfect outdoor tool , Liberty can meet numerous requirements. Up to 256 measurement channels with sample rates of up to 100 kS/s per channel are available, with many different types of signal conditioning.

The smaller 22 x 19 x 20 cm cube only weighs 9.8 kg and offers up to 128 measurement channels with 4 slots. The larger variant contains 256 channels, distributed across 8 slots, and weighs 15.2 kg. Liberty measures with a sampling rate of up to 100 kS/s and is therefore, despite the particularly robust design, a portable high-performance system .

No such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. The same applies to equipment: This is why the Liberty housing is splash water resistant and protected against dirt as per IP54 /NEMA 12X . Watertight Ethernet connectors for the Liberty are included in the RJ45 Kit. The working temperature range covers -10°C to +55°C.

Even when no power supply is available on the go, Liberty carries on thanks to its flexible and well-designed voltage supply. The internal battery powers Liberty in stand-alone applications. An additional battery module extends working time and can be swapped during operation (Hot-Swap). With an input voltage range between 12 and 35 VDC, Liberty can also be powered by standard vehicle batteries and its batteries charged up.

Measurement intelligence at the event location - extendable, cascadable, stand-alone

Once configured, Liberty operates self-sufficiently as a stand-alone device without processor connection . If longer operating times are necessary, an additional battery module prolongs the battery life. Measurements and their evaluation can be implemented separately as Liberty can send the measurement data to an evaluation processor via an Ethernet connection . This makes measurement series possible even in difficult to access locations such as cranes or booms. Measurement sites synchronized with one another can also be set up. The IRIG time signal is used to synchronize the individual Liberty devices.

The Perception software recognizes the inserted cards. Plug and Play extensions facilitate configuration on site. Perception intuitively guides you through the measurement sequence.
